Ulster Unionist Assembly member for Fermanagh & South Tyrone, Tom Elliott MLA has congratulated local firm, Powerscreen International Ltd, Dungannon on being granted Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category.

Tom said: “Despite the current global economic downturn the staff of Powescreen has demonstrated that with their research and product development they have still managed to increase international sales, with approximately 84% of current production being sold overseas. I trust that further orders can be received by the company in the near future and further progress made within the company.

This company should be congratulated on this prestigious award, which puts the company amongst the most successful UK business and I trust that as a result of these sales that further business can be secured in the near future. This company is a major employer in the South Tyrone area and brings much needed finance into the local economy and is a key player in the world wide supplier in quarrying, mobile screening equipment.”
