The Ulster Unionist Party has donated £2,000 to Donnelly Brother’s Dungannon for the Armagh Tigers Charitable Trust which recently held a gala event in Armagh in a bid to raise funds.

Commenting on the donation Ulster Unionist MLA Tom Elliott said; “It has been a delight to donate this money today to this worthy and commendable charity.  In Northern Ireland we often take for granted our everyday amenities.  Things that we view as essentials like water, sewage systems, transport networks, education are available to everyone in the UK – for many in Africa this is sadly not the case.”

“The money we have donated today will support Missionary workers in Africa - helping people and local communities.

“I would like to commend Donnelly’s for taking on this huge challenge and on behalf of the Ulster Unionist Party would like to wish them all the best in their endeavor.  Their vision shows that we really can help those who need it most.”

Tom was joined at Donnelly’s by party colleague Lord Maginnis.
