Ulster Unionist MLA Tom Elliott has said it is a very sad time for the community following a road accident, in which it is reported of one fatality and at least two people seriously injured.
Mr Elliott said: “It is always very sad for a community when a fatal accident occurs. I understand that this accident has resulted in one fatality and a number who are seriously injured. “While being a tragedy for the entire community it is obviously very distressing for the family of the person who has died and also for those injured. “I believe that this accident may have occurred close to where another fatal accident happened just over 2 years ago. “My thoughts and prayers are with the family of the person who died in this accident but also with those who are injured and involved.”
